New Airline for BWI Marshall Expands Travel Options, Adds Two New Routes To Vero Beach and Burlington

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport today celebrated the inaugural flight from Breeze Airways, marking the launch of a new airline in the market. Breeze began roundtrip service between BWI Marshall and Vero Beach, Florida Thursday. The airline will add roundtrip service between BWI Marshall and Burlington, Vermont on Sunday. Growing airline service and expanding travel options at BWI Marshall to meet the needs of residents, business and visitors is a priority under the Moore-Miller Administration.

The Breeze flights to both markets will operate three times per week, on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Breeze currently operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 91 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean on its new, efficient Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The celebration brought together airport and airline representatives and passengers to mark the occasion.
