Paid Internship Opportunities Available in Multiple Career Fields
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is accepting applications for the 2020 paid summer internship program for college students. The initiative will provide students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills while gaining real-world experience in a professional work environment. The 10-week summer program, June 3 to August 12, will consist of on-the-job experience, leadership development, and networking skills.
“This unique training experience is designed to enhance the professional development of college students,” said Ricky Smith, Executive Director of BWI Marshall Airport. “We want to help prepare students for successful careers while inspiring them to consider careers in the aviation field. The internship program will offer college students knowledge and experience that will assist with the transition to professional employees.”
Ten positions will be available. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university. Students are required to have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher to qualify and must be able to complete and pass all pre-employment screenings. The internship program will offer a salary of $19.32 per hour.
The application process is open until March 3, 2020. Interviews will be held in April. Internship applications for summer 2020 are now available on the BWI Marshall Airport website at bwiairport.com/jobs/internships.
