BWI Marshall Airport is also working to improve the passenger terminal facility and provide new services for travelers. The terminal enhancements will provide a high level of service for passengers while providing opportunities for further growth.
A new security checkpoint recently opened, along with the new “B/C Connector” that links Concourse C with Concourses A and B. The new checkpoint is the largest at BWI Marshall, offering 9 lanes for the Transportation Security Administration to inspect passengers and carry-on items. The new security checkpoint, located between Concourses B and C, serves all airline gates on Concourses A, B, and C.
Construction work on the B/C Connector and other terminal improvements will continue through the summer months. Other projects include enhancements to Concourse C with improved airline gate hold rooms and the creation of new food and retail concessions along the B/C Connector and on Concourse C.
