BWI Marshall Airport made free wireless Internet access available for travelers in August 2012. BWI Marshall now offers a complimentary, basic Wi-Fi service along with a paid, premium service.
Construction started in June 2012 on a major terminal enhancement program at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The work will improve and modernize the BWI Marshall passenger terminal facility and provide new services for Airport travelers.
The BWI Marshall Observation Gallery will be closed until summer 2013 to accommodate the construction program.
Completion of the improvements is expected in the summer of 2013.
The AirSpace Lounge is located on Concourse D and offers all BWI passengers a quiet, relaxing retreat. For prices as low as $20.00/day, lounge patrons will find complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages, wireless internet, power outlets at every seat, comfortable seating, workspace areas & in-lounge restrooms.
ICC Bus to Montgomery CountyICC Bus Route 201 operates between the Gaithersburg Park and Ride lot located at I-270 and MD 124 in Montgomery County and BWI Marshall Airport. The 201 makes stops at the Shady Grove Metro, the Georgia Avenue Park & Ride, the Burtonsville Park & Ride and Arundel Mills Mall. At BWI Marshall, the 201 stops at Concourses A (Southwest Airlines) and E (International terminal), dropping off passengers on the upper level and picking up passengers on the lower level. The route terminates at the BWI Rail Station. Buses depart BWI Marshall hourly on weekdays from 5:05am to 11:05pm and on weekends/holidays from 9:05am to 11:05pm.
