During this holiday season, travelers at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport will be greeted with the sounds of the season as diverse musical performers from throughout the region provide entertainment. The holiday entertainment lineup will feature a number of musical genres, with performances at various locations throughout the BWI Marshall Airport terminal. Holiday music will be performed over the next three weeks, starting December 8.
“BWI Marshall is the gateway to Maryland and the National Capital region, which makes it an excellent location to highlight local musical talent,” said Paul J. Wiedefeld, Executive Director of BWI Marshall. “Our goal with the music program is to create a positive, memorable travel experience for our customers during this holiday season.”
The BWI Marshall holiday music program is one component of the Airport’s overall art and entertainment initiative. BWI Marshall features a number of permanent art exhibits and architectural enhancements, as well as several rotating exhibits throughout the terminal. The artwork compliments and enhances the Airport for travelers.
