The Maryland-based DuClaw Brewing Company today opened a new operation in Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Located adjacent to the Southwest Airlines ticket counter in BWI Marshall Airport, DuClaw Brewing Company offers hungry travelers a full range of freshly prepared salads, pasta dishes, burgers, salads, and appetizers along with a number of specialty beers on tap. The BWI Marshall location is DuClaw’s first airport operation.
“DuClaw Brewing Company is an excellent local establishment that will offer our travelers outstanding new dining options,” said Paul J. Wiedefeld, Executive Director of the Maryland Aviation Administration. “BWI Marshall Airport is pleased to continue offering quality local brands and products to our customers.”
DuClaw Brewing Company opened its first brewery in 1996 in Bel Air, Maryland. The company’s brewing operations were later moved to a larger facility in Abingdon. In addition to its new BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport location, DuClaw Brewing Company has restaurants in Arundel Mills, Bel Air, and Bowie Town Center.
DuClaw Brewing Company joins other new food and retail establishments that have opened throughout BWI Marshall Airport in recent years by the concessions developer BAA Maryland. The food and retail program at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport has received awards and industry recognition from Airport Revenue News and Airports Council International-North America, among others.
