BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport will conduct an emergency planning exercise on Saturday, May 7, 2011. The drill will allow for BWI Marshall and other agencies to prepare for an actual emergency at the Airport.
The BWI Marshall Airport Fire and Rescue Department, other Airport divisions, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, and representatives from supporting federal, State, and local agencies will take part in the full-scale exercise.
The exercise will not impact normal Airport operations.
When: Saturday, May 7, 9:00 a.m. – approximately 1:00 p.m.
Where: BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport
Note: Emergency vehicles and personnel will operate at BWI Marshall Airport as part of the exercise.
